About the Role:
The Production Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role will conduct inspections, tests, and audits to maintain high quality and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Support the implementation of necessary measures to ensure series quality
- Assist the implementation of necessary measures within the framework of quality improvement programs
- Monitor product quality and scrap rate(s): defect analysis, continuous improvement process (CIP / Scrap Problem Solving), tracking of corrective and improvement action
- Support the development and implementation of local BU quality standards in coordination with BU Quality (quality work instructions, border line catalog, etc.)
- Assist with customer audits for the Business Unit and execution of correlated actions
- Assist in the handling of 8D process in case of customer complaints in BU plant to provide related 8D report to Customer Quality Engineers as well as the customer portals
- Responsible for implementing necessary measures from the PFMEA
- Conduct audits (layered audits, process audits, 5S audits, LPA, etc.)
- Other duties, as assigned
About You:
- High School or equivalent (associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience), preferred
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection (manufacturing/automotive environment, preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, Document Control, Continuous Improvement)
- Knowledgeable in using quality measurement tools and software
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
