Who You Are:
You are an important aspect in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of the children we serve. As an Assistant Teacher, you are responsible for assisting the site coordinator of the school with site management, activities, arts and crafts, curriculum, meals, skill development, play time, and more! The Assistant Teacher is a positive role model for all staff and children. Teachers reinforce positive guidance techniques and model appropriate language and behavior. Assistant Teachers have opportunities to develop and grow professionally.
Schedule: Summer position with the ability to stay on after summer. EmBe can be flexible with school schedules. We are open 6am – 6pm, Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

What It Takes:
- General knowledge of child growth and development.
- Occasional lifting of 20 to 40 lbs.
- Minimum age of 14 years.
- No substantiated history of child abuse and neglect.
- No staff member will have a felony conviction record on file within the last 5 years.
- No staff member’s name will appear on the sex offender’s registry.
