Our Mechanical Team Member is responsible for assembling mechanical aspects of parts through standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions:
Our Mechanical Team Member is responsible for assembling mechanical aspects of parts through standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions:
- Assemble parts and subassemblies to specifications using manual and/or pneumatic air tools.
- Requires print reading and basic math skills as well as the ability to use a tape measure and common hand tools and operate assembly machines.
- Ability to work from drawings or specifications.
- Ability to work in stationary standing position for full shifts.
- Heavy lifting of up to 60 to 70 pounds unassisted. Lifting 100 pounds with help.
- Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret written and/or verbal instructions and have good communication skills in English.
- Ability to deal with changing priorities on a daily basis.
- Ability to work closely with a team of other Mechanical Team Members.
- Prefer at least 3 years of mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- MIG welding experience a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Work is completed in a manufacturing environment with some exposure to fumes and temperature variations.
- Work is completed standing in work cells.
- Some lifting is required.
- Day shift Monday to Friday, some overtime is required and will require an early morning start. (5AM or 6AM)
