What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extra Board Deli Attendant position at Emerald Queen Casino?
The Extra Board (on-call) Deli Attendant is responsible for providing superior guest service to casino guests while performing duties at the deli counter. Duties include serving hot and cold beverages, preparing and serving food, handling inventory, stocking counters, display coolers, sandwich bar and steam table neatly and according to holding requirements. Keeps all display equipment neat, clean and free of debris during business hours while maintaining the cleanliness of the deli area as needed. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Starting wage is $17.02/hr increasing to $17.61/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum one year counter experience is required
- Previous food handling is required
- Must be able to handle cash and credit card transactions
- Must have valid Washington State food handler’s card
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- Must be able to bend, reach and squat
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
