Responsibilities of the Test Technician:
- Operating, troubleshooting and setup for testing electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts, according to established procedures.
- Testing electronic products, components and systems for functional and visual acceptance.
- Interpret technical documents such as schematics
- Assisting test operators with testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, in an effort to further develop their skills.
- Collecting diagnostic information needed to improve manufacturing processes; identifying component failures or design faults.
- Daily activities may also include, mechanical assembly, go-no-go testing, equipment setup, test fixture maintenance, programming, training, and in-line inspection of work performed.

Requirements of the Test Technician:
- Associate degree in an electrical/electronic discipline, or comparable experience.
- Computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of various electronic test equipment, such as DMM, oscilloscope and power supplies.
