Our Financial Services client is looking for a Data Analyst in Houston, TX. This opportunity is located near the Jersey Village area of Houston offering Hybrid Flexibility. You will support the development of Key Performance Indicators with the IT Department. You will also ensure data governance, accuracy, and consistency between dashboards for all company owned assets.
Responsibilities:
- Query various Databases/Data warehouses used across the Enterprise for reports
- Leverage data accessibility to drive data-driven decisions and improve the working environment
- Identify trends and analyzed data to support Engineering and Operations teams in problem-solving
- Recommend automated reporting processes by building materialized views, stored procedures, and stored functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering (any) or a related field.
- Strong hands-on skills and deep knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedure, functions triggers, indexes, security, and advanced SQL in Data Warehousing environment
- 2 years of experience in reporting and BI using tools such as Tableau, Excel, Oracle, SQL, Spotfire or Power BI
- API integration understanding
