What are the responsibilities and job description for the OA - Operator IV - Ozone position at Emery Oleochemicals LLC?
1. Operations - Start and stop process equipment and operations in accordance with production schedules or as required by existing conditions. Monitor process operations and make adjustments as required to maintain product quality, optimize the process or keep the process within safe operating parameters. Make periodic rounds to inspect the process for proper operation, checking for abnormal conditions - take action as necessary to alleviate any issues.
2. Safety - Be familiar with all plant safety requirements and perform all responsibilities according to the safety requirements of the plant SH&E manual. Complete monthly safety training and attend all required safety meetings. Participate in Job safety Analysis when required.
3. Quality - Collect periodic in-process samples and use quality data to make adjustments as required to maintain finished product quality. Be knowledgeable of our ISO:9001 policies and procedures. Participate in ISO:9001 audits.
4. Admin - Perform housekeeping requirements on each shift to ensure the control room and work areas are clean and safe to work in.
5. Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, if needed (DuPont Schedule)
