Job Summary
As the Sr Financial Analyst at Empire Auto Parts, you will report directly to the CFO, providing you with a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence key financial strategies. You will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and financial goals. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will work with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to enhance the company's financial landscape and contribute to its growth.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop accurate and actionable financial plans.
• Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance and forecast future trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
• Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights.
• Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying areas of concern or improvement opportunities.
• Prepare monthly reports for Business leaders, Investors & Lenders
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
Strategic Support:
• Partner with senior management to evaluate strategic initiatives & investment opportunities.
• Assist in the development of business cases and financial models to support investment decisions and strategic planning efforts.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve overall efficiency within the FP&A function.
• Implement best practices and tools to optimize financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and accuracy of financial information and insights.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience 2-5 years in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably within the distribution or manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite ERP preferred.
