Logistic Specialist (ESC)
This position is for one of Empires sister companies, ESC.
Job Summary
This position requires a construction or landscaping minded individual. Uses safe methods when handling tools and equipment. Supports the management and mission of the company. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, detail oriented and like "thinking outside the box"
Responsibilities :
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Load shipments- poles, dugouts, etc
Unload deliveries
Load / unload paint booths
Keep yard organized
Packaging products for shipments
Learn software for inventory, deliveries and finished products (Tekla)
Support crew in daily tasks
Work in all weather conditions
Must be eager to learn
Show up on time
Positive attitude
Learning attitude
Work toward getting First Aid / CPR / AED certifications
This position requires a construction minded individual with a growth mindset.
Learn to install and repair all styles of commercial / industrial fence.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition.
Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications :
US work authorization is required.
High School or equivalent is preferred.
Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e., skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
