Technical Operative (Compressed shift) - Hillsboro, OR
Our client, a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments, is seeking a Technical Operative (Material Handler) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Material handling skills, experience with Microsoft Office or SAP and experience with goods receiving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Operative (Compressed shift)
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Pay Range: 20-21$ per hour
Shift: Compressed – 7am to 7pm (every second Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
Training Shift: Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm (6 week training period)
What’s the Job?
- Goods receiving to include checking, counting and organisation of stock
- Ordering and sorting customer orders to agreed timeframes and order turnaround times
- Delivery of items to points of use
- Stock checks and cycle counting of products with pro-active approach to maintaining stock accuracy
- Manage project deliverables and tasks to completion within specified timeframes
- Basic troubleshooting
What’s Needed?
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Problem solving aptitude
- Tech savvy individual with previous experience using software systems e.g. SAP, Microsoft Projects, Teamwork, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Material Handling experience is a PLUS. Inventory experience as well
