POSITION TITLE: Field Operator
DEPARTMENT: Operations – Oklahoma Gas System
REPORTS TO: Manager- Field & Compression Operations, Maintenance & Construction
POSITION SUMMARY:
Field operator is responsible for operating and performing minor maintenance on natural gas compression and processing equipment in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner. A Field Operator will take pertinent equipment reading, perform minor unsupervised tasks, analyze Field performance and make decisions based on observation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Field Operator will be required to work in and around industrial and electrical equipment indoors and outdoors. Field Operator will be able to work in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment. Field Operator will be required to wear safety equipment as needed. Field Operator will be working and climbing at various heights and may work in confined spaces between tanks, compressors and vessels. Field Operator may work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling position on an as needed basis. Field Operator will be able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level up to 50 lbs., and manually transport a load up to 70 lbs. Field Operator will have the ability to get in and out of vehicles regularly and ride over rough roads on an as needed basis. Field Operator will be willing to work overtime.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Operator will learn and adhere to Enerfin safety rules, policies and procedures. Field Operator will assist with the completion of day to day operations, routine and scheduled maintenance tasks and appropriate reports. Field Operator will complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely and efficient manner in all kinds of weather conditions. Field Operator will operate and perform minor maintenance on a variety of natural gas reciprocating engines, compressor units, and associated station equipment. Field Operator will assist with predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability. Field Operator will assist with inventory and warehouse control. Field Operator will work within operating guidelines. Field Operator will be accountability for safe operation of company supplied vehicle and associated equipment. Field Operator will complete individual tasks with minimal supervision. Field Operator will advise Supervisor of equipment maintenance needs. Field Operator will support individual and team goal setting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Field Operator will have a minimum 1 year of related Midstream experience required. A high school diploma or equivalent and will be able to work well within a team environment. Field Operator will be required to work unscheduled overtime and be available to respond to afterhours call-outs

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
