POSITION SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for repairing, maintaining, imaging, troubleshooting, and updating computers, tablets (i.e., iPads), Chromebooks, projectors, digital displays, and other technology throughout the District. Both on-site and remote support will be necessary to maintain a productive learning and working environment. Additional responsibilities may include the maintenance of network connectivity, directory services, and group policy. Document school site inventory, procedures and respond to service requests. Basic network and connectivity issues; maintain directory services of network accounts and group policy. Develop and promote good community relations among stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist staff with technology integration.
- Assist school personnel with maximizing business and administrative technology in school operations.
- Capability to manage multiple concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment utilizing the district ticketing system
- Problem solve, repair, and maintain hardware, software, and other technology systems.
- Perform general computer maintenance and coordinate repair of all computer hardware.
- Maintain, configure, update, deploy both hardware and software solutions of a mission-critical nature.
- Understand IP schemes, VLANS, and configurations therein.
- Maintain Macintosh and Windows operating systems on a variety of devices.
- Install and maintain District approved software on Macintosh and Windows environments.
- Provide iPad and Chromebook technical support to students.
- Maintain an organized and friendly technical support office.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technology requests and services provided.
- Provide network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot AV equipment : LCD projectors, document cameras, Digital displays, Intrado alert systems, etc.
- Establish student, staff, and parental rapport that allows for a proactive response to potential problems.
- Support and advance the technical, instructional, and efficiency goals of the Technology Department and sites served.
- Actively participate in meetings, in-service, and other required training.
- Apply and implement knowledge, skills, and new understandings.
- Operate on a highly efficient team that embraces collaborative problem-solving.
- Prioritize and schedule work tasks independently as well as with the team.
- Create and implement effective and efficient process management strategies (e.g., procedures, equipment, materials, and supplies).
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with professional standards, state guidelines, and school system policy.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Three (3) year job-related experience.
Demonstrated technical skills / experience with both MAC and PC systems.
Knowledge of JAMF Pro Desired
Knowledge of Google Workspace Desired
English fluency will be determined through the interview process.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS :
Jamf 100 or 200 (preferred or willing to obtain)
Google Workspace Admin training (preferred or willing to obtain)

SALARY :
Starting hourly rate $24.45 - $27.66 per hour, dependent upon prior related experience and qualifications.
