Maintenance Assistant

Full Time Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities:
•    Perform all preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep related to all furniture, fixtures, and equipment for community as assigned by Maintenance Director
•    Routinely inspect the physical plant, furniture, fixtures, and equipment of community to confirm they are in good working order
•    Ensure that all vacant resident rooms are ready for a new move in
•    Assist in maintaining a schedule of service for all equipment and operating systems (HVAC, grease traps, fire-suppression hoods, back-flow preventers, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke detection, generator back-up, and all other necessary equipment, furniture, and fixtures).
•    Maintain a schedule of service for all equipment and operating systems
•    Assist in ensuring all AZDHS regulations are met
•    Assist in ensuring all county health department standards are met as assigned by Maintenance Director
•    Ensure all building codes are met
•    Assist with maintaining storage rooms
•    Transport residents in company vehicle to shopping, entertainment, medical appointments, etc. when needed
•    Preform pre-trip inspections of tire, brakes, lights, suspension system, and mirrors as required by State and Federal law
•    Ensures that the interior and the exterior of the bus is clean
•    Maintain logs of trip inspections, preventative maintenance logs, and maintenance records for community vehicle
