Radiology Student PRN

Shadow and observe licensed Radiology Technologist to gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities.  Assist in preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean, well-stocked and ready for patient use.  Help position patients for radiographic examinations under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiologic Technologist.  Provide basic patient care and comfort, answering questions, providing reassurance and ensuring patient privacy.  Observe and learn proper radiation safety practices and procedures. Serves ages neonate through geriatric.

Qualifications:   Current enrollment in an accredited radiology technology program.  Completion of prerequisite coursework in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology required.  BLS Certification
