Responsibilities
- Ability to document Business Systems Requirements. Translate High Level Business Requirements to Systems Requirement Build Business Flow Diagrams
- Monitors production systems for alerts, outages, and system issues. Researches issues and performs root cause analysis to minimize risk. Implements solutions for issues and appropriate development initiatives.
- Ensures that support requests are resolved within the service level agreements. Communicates statuses and resolutions.
- Writes and updates production support documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations. Assists in implementing changes.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business partners.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience, with at least one year of Information Technology experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred.
- Must have Investment Management, Front office equity experience
- Must have Financial / Investment Industry experience
- The ability to think and troubleshoot in a structured manner is key. The ideal candidate has a technical background, the desire to understand why a system is functioning in a suboptimal manner and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience on software development teams with the ability to gather and document system requirements.
