Envigo RMS is Hiring a Human Resource Business Partner Near Indianapolis, IN

Overview

Inotiv is growing! We are searching for a dynamic HR professional who will join our mission to support the growth of the company and continue to build a unique and strong people-oriented culture. Located in Indianapolis, IN this role is responsible for providing facility level leadership in all areas of Human Resources. Act as an internal consultant and business partner to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Human Resources services to employees. Provide leadership with guidance on decisions affecting day-to-day needs as well as long-term strategies to achieve positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Human Resource functions for Indianapolis sites; counselling of employees and management; salary administration; compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
  • Provide guidance to the leadership team on a wide variety of employee relations issues (including policy and HR procedure).
  • Execute transactional core HR processes (e.g. coordinate and conduct new associate orientation, onboarding and exit interviews, status changes, etc).
  • Work with leaders to ensure the HR strategy is aligned with the business strategy.
  • Provide coaching with regarding to performance management including performance improvement plans and employee performance counselling documents.
  • Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition with recruitment and staffing plans.
  • Assist in programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Demonstrate discretion and business ethics as well as operate with integrity and fairness.
  • Possess working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law as well as Human Resource practices.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Communicate any concerns with HR Leadership.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft products such as excel, outlook, teams, etc to communicate and provide reporting materials.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, or a similar field of study
  • Minimum of 3-4 years Human Resource generalist background with Employee Relations experience
  • HRIS experience preferred 

Travel required to local Indianapolis and Greenfield locations

Position is on-site in Indianapolis
