Hiring for:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, including our production floor, offices, & employee break areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and a willingness to maintain a high level of quality in their work.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping.
- Clean and maintain various surfaces, including walls, windows, doors, and countertops.
- Utilize equipment such as buffers and floor care machines to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Perform porter duties, including emptying trash cans and restocking supplies, thorough cleaning of office & employee bathrooms. Scrub bathroom walls.
- Clean and maintain facilities in a way that promotes a safe and healthy environment for occupants.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when performing tasks.
- Must be able to stand for 10 hour shifts.
- Able to bend, twist and lift at least 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in custodial or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of quality in their work.
