What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Manager position at EnviroServe?

The Regional Manager, Sales will manage a team of Account Managers responsible for building value-driven strategic relationships with EnviroServe's key customers that can help in long-term development and retention, thereby maximizing the revenue potential and achieving long-term goals. EnviroServe's services including hazardous and nonhazardous waste disposal, lab packing, remediation, and transportation of hazardous materials, industrial services, field services, hydro excavation, and any other related industrial and environmental services. The Regional Manager will be a highly motivated sales professional with proven success working in the environmental services industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision and have demonstrated skills in multi-tasking, organization, self-direction, and relationship building. Superb verbal and non-verbal communication skills are key to this position. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience as this role will be managing a team of Account Managers, driving new business and exceeding revenue growth expectations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve organic growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and further penetrates existing customers.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present revenue, pipeline, and forecast reports to the management team.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers and Field Service Project Managers to drive business development.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for customer account matters working with Large National companies.
  • Address customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain trust.
  • Negotiate and close customer service agreements to maximize profits while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Identify current customer relationships, establish, and nurture strong relationships with key customers, recognize opportunities for expansion, and work with local Field teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain strong customer relations by traveling throughout assigned region to meet with existing and prospective customers to assess and manage customer needs.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports on sales activities including sales figures, potential projects, and strategies for growth.
  • Set KPIs and sales targets for regions Sales Team.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to grow sales and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of environmental regulations and industry standards to provide knowledgeable guidance to current and prospective customers.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities that ensures achievement of assigned annual sales goals.
  • Perform customer site inspections and attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships across the customer's organization to ensure EnviroServe is the provider for all.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a Team in a fast-paced environment.
