Production Tech (Encapsulation)
We are the premier enzyme contract manufacturer and supplier in the country.
Production Tech (Encapsulation) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Hands-on operation of production equipment encapsulation machines, and the loading of raw ingredients and capsules.
- Set up and operate equipment, adjust settings during operation and verify equipment settings before starting the process.
- Perform in-process checks until the batch is complete. As an example, verify fill weight and product matches finished good specs.
- Collect and weigh capsule yields into containers using platform bench scales.
- Clean and sanitize equipment / parts prior to and after each use; disassembling and reassembling as needed.
- Sweep/wash floors and sanitize work areas to maintain equipment and work area.
- Move cases to designated areas within production and warehouse, as needed, using manual pallet jacks.
- Work with the Quality Department to perform compliance/quality checks daily.
- Report Out of Specification capsules (OSS) when product is not meeting documented standards to Supervisor / Lead and Quality team.
- Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices regulations (cGMP) and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while meeting deadlines.
NOTE -- This is all done in a clean room environment with the latest personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented.
- Self-starter.
- Familiarity with basic quality control.
- Works well under deadlines.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of tooling and the ability to select the appropriate tools for each job.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on machines.
- Proficient math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals, in all units of measure).
- Ability and willingness to comply and support Company policies, procedures, work rules, and protocols.
** Note - Training will be provided on our machines and the encapsulation process, but confidence working with machines/tools is expected.

- Four day workweek, Monday-Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Starting pay of $20 per hour (dependent on experience).
