What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rhapsody Development and Support Consultant position at ePATHUSA Inc?
Seeking a Contractor to work with the Offices of Communicable Diseases and the Offices of Health Data, Operations and Research that possesses demonstratable knowledge and experience in working with the Rhapsody platform, developing Rhapsody software solutions and implementing public health HL7 specifications. The contractor will be supporting MSDH's on-going data interoperability obligations as well as:
- Working closely with key MSDH OHIT and program staff to develop and implement pans and processes to strengthen, expand and formalize Rhapsody's capacity, capabilities and customer support
- Identify and develop a plan to implement CDC recommended changes to the existing Rhapsody environment
- Draft long term and short term MSDH Rhapsody Resource Plans
- Developing Rhapsody architectural and coding standards
Conversion of exisiting architecture, code to new standards -
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working with Rhapsody intergration engine in State Department of Health agencies and/or public entities to include Rhapsody architectural design
- Minimum of 3 years implementing HL7 2.X data interfaces complying with CDC/CMS Promoting Interoperability standards, HL7 CDA Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) eICR standards, and Electronic Test Orders and Results (ETOR) standards and operations
