Episcopal High School Tennis Team
Episcopal High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Tennis Coach to join our team for the upcoming spring season. This is a part-time, seasonal position ideal for someone passionate about tennis and committed to mentoring student-athletes in a positive and encouraging environment.
Key Details:
• Season Duration: February 3 – May 3, 2024
• Practice Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Breaks: Off for Spring Break and Easter Holiday
• Compensation: $5,000–$6,000 (paid as a salary over the season)
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Coach with planning and leading tennis practices.
• Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help players improve their skills and understanding of the game.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.
• Assist with match preparation, lineup decisions, and on-court coaching during competitions.
• Ensure student-athletes adhere to safety protocols and school policies.
• Attend all scheduled practices, matches, and team events.
Qualifications:
• Previous tennis playing and/or coaching experience is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and parents.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes.
• Availability for the full season, including practices and matches.
