As an Annuity Services Technical Trainer, you will provide training and related support to staff within the Service Desk and Managed Services business units. YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions of this position include:
- Facilitate training to ePlus Managed Services staff through a variety of methods, targeting the following personnel: Service Desk Analysts, MSC Support Specialists, Technical Support Specialists, Engineers, and Managed Services Team Leads
- Work closely with all Managed Services departments to identify new training opportunities
- Assist in the development of product and technical training programs, including course curriculum and corresponding training materials and/or job aids
- Create, maintain, manage, and refresh instructional videos and written content
- Provide training support throughout Annuity Services, including delivery of training-related communication, training coordination/scheduling, and development of related content
- Act as a liaison between QA and Service Desk teams, promoting related training events
- Collaborate with OEM partners and other training personnel to ensure compliance with partner shared support programs and successful on-boarding of new hires via employee execution of a mature employee orientation program
- Coach and mentor others involved in Annuity Services training efforts
- Conduct follow-up studies of completed training to evaluate and measure results
- Provide metrics and assessments of training development plans to management
- Prepare training facilities prior to training classes
- Maintain training material inventory
- Perform other related job duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS degree in related field, or equivalent training within a Managed Services and/or Service Desk environment
- 2 years of experience as a technical trainer, content developer/writer or related position at a technology-focused company
- 2 years of experience in a technical service delivery role such as technical support, network management, or technical analyst
- Previous experience presenting technical material through a variety of methods, targeting audiences of varying technical capability
- Previous experience using an incident management system – ServiceNow experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze and abstract complex content into meaningful course design
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Effective team-player who also can function well independently against tight deadlines
POSITION SPECIFICS
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $80,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
