Overview

*Hybrid remote opportunity for candidates local to Northern Virginia. Candidates MUST be geographically located within a reasonable driving distance from our Herndon, Virginia headquarters office, with a willingness to work on-site two to three days per week**

 

ePlus is looking for an enthusiastic, strategic, forward-thinking Recruiter focused on quality over quantity to work from its headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.  This individual will be focused on finding experienced talent, assisting with accelerating the hiring process, providing full-cycle talent acquisition services from branding to evangelizing the ePlus message through sourcing, selecting, recruiting talent for both technical and sales positions.

YOUR IMPACT


The essential functions of this position include:

  • Recruit technical and sales talent with IT Technology experience
  • Serve as the recruitment liaison with hiring manager
  • Post and advertise open job positions by utilizing the following methods:
    • External job boards
    • Social media and social recruiting sites
    • ePlus Intranet and internal job boards
    • College recruitment boards
  • Review resume databases to search for potential candidates
  • Keep abreast of local companies and competitors for potential candidates
  • Analyze resumes to determine suitability of candidate for interviewing
  • Screen candidates
  • Determine the suitability of an applicant for employment by analyzing results of completed application and interview
  • Schedule phone and personal interviews with hiring managers on an as needed basis
  • Entry of interviewed candidates into HRIS
  • Work with hiring manager on external posting of job description
  • Ensure hiring managers are following proper hiring practices
  • Make recommendations of hires to managers
  • Work with hiring manager on completion of the New Hire Form (NHF)
  • Follow up on acceptance of an offer to a candidate
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of previous full life cycle recruitment experience, preferably for an IT company
  • Demonstrated experience with utilizing a variety of sourcing tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with recruiting using social media required
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws regarding employment practices & recruitment
  • Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Sensitivity to corporate needs, employee goodwill and public image
  • Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

POSITION SPECIFICS


The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
