The “Senior Systems Engineer” position will provide onsite and remote design and delivery of full stack IT systems for various customers to include the DoD and US Government.  This role will require the candidate to understand the customers’ requirements, work with various stakeholders to design and implement the solution, all while exceeding customer expectations. This senior position requires the candidate to possess expert level knowledge of design and deployment with accompanying certifications in various vendor solutions to include Azure Stack HCI, vSphere VSAN, Dell VxRail, and Dell PowerEdge systems to include rackmount and MX series servers.  The ideal candidate also has datacenter networking experience including Local Area Networking on Dell and Cisco based switches as well as Storage Area Networking. They should be fluent in numerous operating systems to include Linux and Windows Server based systems as well as various Hypervisors.

This person should be comfortable leading teams as well as being a teammate while collaborating, designing, and creating documentation of delivered solutions.  They should be adept at hands-on work.

Candidate must have a MINIMUM of an active US Government issued SECRET security clearance.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implementation of various IT systems at customer locations.
• Able to physically install and cable various IT systems in customer datacenters.
• Document final installed configuration.
• Provide oversite to other onsite vendors.
• Work within a combined vendor team to resolve issues and keep delivery on schedule.
• Travel to various locations (CONUS and OCONUS) to install systems for US Government customers.
• Exceed our customers’ expectations.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in technical role delivering systems and networks.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying Azure Stack HCI
• Working knowledge of Azure operating system and virtualization solutions as pertinent to data center solutions.
• Proficient with multi-vendor data center offerings, to include Dell, HPE, Nutanix, Cisco, Aruba, VMware, NetScout, and others.
• Must have current manufacturer certifications (Dell, Cisco, Microsoft)
• The ability to travel to customer locations with a flexible schedule to support business needs (up to 75% travel), may require limited weekend travel to certain sites (i.e.… international locations).
• Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of a 4-year Technical Degree (BS) or higher preferred.
• Data center management background preferred.
• Post sales delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to document delivery solutions.
• You must have Microsoft Azure experience.
• You must have a current Secret security clearance issued by the US Government; Top Secret preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD issued ID Card.
