Core Responsibilities
§ Generate redlines of technical and non-technical nature.
§ Assist in identifying the scope of work and fee for proposals, work order authorization, or change orders.
§ Create and manage complicated base files.
§ Perform engineering calculations and modeling independently for final review by a PE.
§ Perform independent QC on reports and models prepared by others using checklists and review tools.
§ Responsible for writing and compiling reports with final review by a PE. May assist with advanced modeling.
§ Responsible for report writing and compliation and submit to PE for final review.
§ Prepare high-quality exhibits for client and public presentations following company standards.
§ Prepare cost estimates with direction.
§ Prepare agenda and meeting minutes for client and municipal meetings. May be asked to lead some client meetings.
§ Present technical topics to clients and review agencies.
§ Coordinate internal departments and subconsultants to meet project timelines.
§ Assist with the request for information (RFIs).
§ Assist with hydraulic and hydrology calculations for roadway drainage.
§ Assist with preparing specifications.
§ Responsible for completing timecards accurately and on time.
§ Perform other duties as assigned.
§ Achieve an 85-90% Billable Utilization Rate. Non-billable activities include company & team meetings, professional development, community involvement, innovation time, culture & engagement activities, learning, and training.
Preferred Skills & Experience
§ Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
§ Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
§ Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing engineering construction plans and reports for land development projects.
§ Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
§ Professional knowledge of Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Pipe Networks.
§ Strong oral and written communication skills.
§ Understanding of governmental public and private development codes and ordinances.
§ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
§ Possess a positive attitude and actively participate in company culture.
§ Ability to efficiently utilize time in completing tasks accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
§ Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Physical Requirements
· Required to stand, walk, and sit.
· The position may require a visit to project sites occasionally.
· The position requires a normal range of hearing.
· The employee must be able to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
· Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching.
· Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
· Noise levels are consistent with a standard office environment.

Salary : $82,663 - $88,681
