The Health Plan Specialist will assist members with questions about benefits
This is a 5 month contract position due to seasonal volume increase. There is a possibility for extension or conversion if FTE positions become available in the future.
Job Duties & Requirements
- Assist members with questions about benefits
- Represent client in a professional manner
- Maintain and restore customer relationships with client
- Resolve customer issues with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow-up
- Provide end-to-end resolution of all issues by maintaining ownership
The ideal candidate has
- Excellent customer service & soft skills
- 1 years of customer service experience (face-to-face or phone)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Flexibility with schedule and working occasional weekend hours
- Critical-thinking skills, and a keen ability to show empathy, problem solve, and explain complex situations
