THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a Full-Time position M-F 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. This position’s primary location will be our Mesa, AZ headquarters, but must be willing to travel to our other locations as needed.

We're looking for a new team member to manage special projects to fulfill internal and external clients' needs. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines. This includes creating the timelines, acquiring necessary resources, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects to plan.

The Project Manager will also define each project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This individual will be the primary contact for our leadership team across multiple locations to obtain updates and reports during all special projects.

THE DAY TO DAY:

  • Meet with clients and team members to review needs, expectations, and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Define, schedule, and accurately estimate task/project duration based on available resources
  • Assemble and lead project teams
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Facilitate many different types of project meetings, from requirements definition, project planning sessions, solutions design sessions, project team meetings, customer meetings, and status meetings
  • Document project requirements in Asana and keep project up-to-date, develop presentations communicating all aspects of a project, present material to all levels of our organization and our customers, and be able to write detailed processes and procedures
  • Identify changes, communicate positive/negative impacts, adhere to strict deadlines or hold other stakeholders responsible for meeting their deadlines, manage changes to cost, schedule and resources
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Exceed client expectations

OTHER POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: *

  • Willing to travel (as needed)
  • College degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program/project management
  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen is a plus!
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority assignments concurrently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with internal team members and external clients
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite as well as project management tools such as Asana
  • Proven working experience in developing and tracking budgets
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, documentation, and reporting

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects as needed.
  • Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

Other Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must complete drug screen upon hire.
  • Must pass background screening. "Pass" for us, is defined as no theft related felony within the past 7 years.
  • The ability to speak/read English fluently
