Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring construction projects are managed in a timely and efficient manner. This position is client facing as well as has responsibility at the construction site to ensure project deliverables are completed. The Project Manager is responsible for: project acquisition: take-offs, estimates, and bidding for construction projects on behalf of the company; forming business relationships and providing project related services for project owners, designers and customers; contract negotiations; providing technical expertise and assistance; monitoring the financial performance of projects to ensure they are executed on time within scope; coordinate and supervise a team composed of project managers; estimators; sales coordinators; and assistants; attend trade meetings and conferences representing the company’s interests; furnish project reports as necessary.
The candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related AND since (6) months Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Manager, Project Estimator, Site Engineer, Junior Site Engineer, or related.
- Knowledge of project acquisition, take-offs, estimates, bidding, team coordination, and monitoring financial performance
- Travel to a variety of construction sites within reasonable commuting distance of the region office located in Santa Ana, CA 92706.
- If offered employment, must have the legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
