Role Overview: As an Implementation Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for new clients from the moment they sign up until they are live with our solution in their stores. You will not only manage the technical implementation but also work closely with clients to understand their true needs, guiding them through the best practices and ensuring the solution is tailored to their business processes. This role is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide engaging, in-depth training to retailers, helping them fully adopt and optimize Erply’s software to streamline operations.
- Work closely with retailers to understand their business needs and tailor workflows for long-term success.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, such as payment solutions, apps, third-party integrations, and plan upgrades.
- Assist in building and importing inventory and customer databases.
- Consistently meet onboarding targets, KPIs, and go-live deadlines.
- Stay up to date with product updates and retail best practices to provide the best guidance.
- Gather and relay feedback to product, sales, and operations teams to improve onboarding and expand upselling opportunities.
What you bring to the team
- Passionate about software and helping retailers leverage technology to grow their businesses.
- Experience in customer success, onboarding, or training roles.
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proactive and eager to improve processes.
- Intermediate skills in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
Bonus points for
- In-depth knowledge of the retail industry and commerce tools.
- E-commerce experience.
- A background in sales and/or technical support.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in software implementation, technical project management, or a related role.
- Experience in the retail or inventory management sector is a plus.
