We are currently hiring a Test Technician I for our Testing Department. We offer an awesome benefits package, a 4-day work week with some overtime on Friday, no mandatory weekend work, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!
Working Hours: Full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands simple refrigeration and electricity, refrigeration valves and schematics.
- Uses electrical meter for volt and amp checks.
- Reads basic electrical schematics.
- Cleans chambers to prepare for shipping.
- Loads and unloads chambers.
- Hooks up and unhooks utilities (electrical and water)
- Assists other Technicians as needed.
- Performs basic maintenance of the test area.
- Uses hand tools.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Regular, physical attendance is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a 1 year degree in Refrigeration or a 2 year degree in Electrical or Electronics.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide is required.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- EPA certification Type 1 and 2 minimum.
