Salary : Summary :
Esposito Construction has dozens of major sitework projects underway in NJ and were looking for aHeavy Equipment Mechanic. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience

Requirements :
Ability to perform large and small repairs in either a mobile or shop setting.
Strong preventative and predictive maintenance experience.
Experienced in engine diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, drivetrain, brakes and suspension.
Focuses first and foremost on safety in all aspects of equipment repairs.
Responsibilities :
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair dozers, loaders, excavators , and occasionally Mack trucks .
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative care to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Identify and replace faulty hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components as needed.
Conduct engine, transmission, and brake system repairs on heavy equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication when necessary for structural repairs.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems .
Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used .
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Work independently or as part of a team to minimize downtime of equipment.
Occasionally perform field service repairs on job sites when equipment breakdowns occur.
Keeps shop / truck equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
