We are currently looking for a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering intern in our compounding and maintenance area. Good communication and leadership skills are Essential.

Primary Responsibilities :

We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual with a continuous improvement mindset and passionate about learning to join us for summer 2022! This internship is intended to give a rising college junior or senior hands-on experience and exposure to a variety of different engineering- and quality-focused responsibilities throughout the facility.

Requirements :

High School diploma, current college coursework

Ability to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, work with minimal direction and handle conflict in a positive manner.

Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments including Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations.

Physical Requirements :

In a standard workday this person will be required to sit 10% and stand, walk 80%, and squat, kneel or twist 10%.

Lifting requirement of 50 lbs maximum and 20 lbs frequently

Visual requirements include the ability to read work orders, blueprints, schematics, measuring devices, computer printouts, and spreadsheet applications.

Temperature and humidity controls are normal. Exposure to hazardous materials will be infrequent. This person may have to wear personal protective equipment which could include safety glasses and safety shoes, depending on the nature of the work.
