ETAP, a member of Schneider Electrical Energy Management Software Division is seeking a senior power system software engineer with extensive knowledge of design, modeling and analysis of power system transients, electrical machines, harmonics, short-circuit, and power electronics. If you are ready to be an industry leader in electrical system simulation software development in a multi-national company that influences how engineers all over the world perform analysis, then this position is for you.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Research, design, write specifications and prototype various power system algorithms and device models.
- Support and lead the development of electrical engineering simulation engines for load flow, short circuit, harmonics, transient stability.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
- Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
- Lead transformational initiatives such as migration to future software architectures and cloud engineering software deployment.
