Compensation: $28-$32 per hour

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the second shift at our Chester, NY facility. If you have a passion for precision machining and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including MULTICAM 3-Axis Router Tables.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Program CNC machines using ALPHACAM Router software or comparable systems.
• Ensure all produced parts meet quality and dimensional specifications through accurate measurements and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or programming issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

CNC Machinist Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a two-year technical degree, apprenticeship, certificate, or equivalent experience in CNC Programming and Machining.
• Competence in performing all duties and responsibilities associated with CNC machining.
• Strong ability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings.
• Experience with MULTICAM 3-Axis Router Tables and ALPHACAM Router software (or comparable systems).
• Proficiency in 2D programming (required); familiarity with 3D programming (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs. to table or shelf height (up to 6 feet).
