Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
- Maintain mammalian cell lines
- Prepare reagents and buffers
- Run/Troubleshoot Cell Based assays independently including ELISA, TR-FRET, fluorescent, etc.
- Utilize automation systems such as Biomek, Bravo, and more, helping to automate systems and processes to optimize workflow
- Collaboration of assay validation
- Utilize ELN for GMP documentation and data analysis
- Perform Second Person Review of notebooks
- Learn compound management with a secondary focus on assay execution utilizing either mechanized or automated instrumentation
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Cell Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline
- At least 2 years of industry experience using ELISA
- Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture, biochemical and/or cell plate-based assay execution, and troubleshooting.
- Comfort working with automated systems, liquid handlers, washers, and plate readers
- Proficient in data analysis and standard software packages for data analysis such as ActivityBase, Prism, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PRISM, and experimental documentation tools, such as electronic notebook
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly integrate into and thrive within a team and to function effectively and independently in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely.
- Experience with different screening technologies including fluorescent, TR-FRET, luminescent, ELISA, etc.
- Experience with compound management tools such as Echo acoustic dispensers or Access platforms
- Experience with assay validation
- Experience with liquid handlers and washers such as Biomek, Bravo, Combi, Tempest, Bluecat, EL406, Precise Drop, etc.
- Familiarity with plate readers including Envision, Pherastar, Citation etc.
- Familiarity with automation/scheduling software such as Momentum, Cellario, Green Button Go, etc.
