Working hours: No weekend hours! Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:45PM; scheduling flexibility necessary to meet service needs.

Salary range: $23-$28/hour DOQ

We are seeking a full time Loan Officer/Account Manager to fill an immediate opening at our Tumwater Financial Center. Our Account Managers serve as consumer and home equity loan processors and officers, as well as providing new accounts and general member service. Our Account Managers work collaboratively as problem-solvers and opportunity seekers.

YOUR DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Performing a number of branch functions including:
  • Consumer & Real Estate Lending,
    • Application Processing
    • Underwriting
    • Communication with member/applicant
  • Opening new accounts, and
  • Occasionally providing teller services
• Striving for and hitting sales goals set for your branch, while keeping the member's best interests front and center
• Cultivating strong relationships with your members; offering products and services to meet their unique needs
• Working with your Team, lending a helping hand when needed.
• Having FUN!

WHAT YOU'D BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Experience with lending, new accounts, or a combination of both; loan processing and underwriting are a plus!
• Previous Credit Union or other Financial Institution experience and understanding of financial regulations
• Ability to review and evaluate credit reports
• Talent for presenting and explaining complex products and services
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including effective listening, speaking, and writing.
• Growth mindset
• Proficiency with computer programs and software, such as MS Office, and ability to master eDCU computer operating systems.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
