What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (Job #AC-KL) position at Exceptional Family Resources?
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man who is a high school student and is involved with bowling and other extracurricular activities. During the week, the mentor will assist him with transportation needed to and from his extracurricular activities and help him cook dinner. On the weekends, the mentor will help him go to the YMCA or attend any social events he has planned. He is applying to the InclusiveU program for the next school year and this mentor would assist him on the SU campus.
Hours: Monday-Friday 3p-7pm, Weekends flexible
Location: Baldwinsville
Pay rate: $28/hr
Goals: Teach independent living skills, attend a club or class related to a hobby/interest, teach social skills
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
