Job Title: Lead Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor

Compensation: $90 to $100K with bonus potential

Position Overview:
· The Lead Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across three shifts, ensuring optimal performance in safety, quality, downtime, cost, and efficiency.
· This role involves direct management of maintenance teams, fostering a safety-first culture, and driving continuous improvement across processes and equipment reliability.
· The ideal candidate will have strong electro-mechanical skills, experience in CNC machining, and a background in woodworking or mill working industries. Spanish-speaking skills are a significant advantage given the workforce demographic.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations & Leadership
· Lead and mentor a team of maintenance leads and technicians across three shifts, ensuring alignment with plant objectives.
· Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
· Develop and implement training programs for technical support, focusing on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including PLC and CNC systems.
· Coordinate with production teams to address safety, quality, and operational challenges using Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
· Support capital projects related to equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
EHS (Environmental Health and Safety):
· Act as a key leader in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with OSHA and EHS guidelines.
· Lead improvement initiatives in EH&S practices and programs.
Continuous Improvement:
· Participate in Lean/Kaizen events to drive operational efficiency.
· Identify and execute strategies to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and lower MRO and energy costs.
Administrative & Reporting:
· Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and support plant-wide budget development.
· Maintain storeroom inventory, ensuring optimal levels of tools, supplies, and MRO parts using systems like TabWare or Great Plains software.
· Conduct regular team meetings to review plant performance, goals, and team concerns.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment, including PLC/CNC systems.
· Familiarity with rigging, machine installation, and maintenance of industrial equipment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
Leadership & Communication:
· Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
· Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
· 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, including leadership roles.
· Demonstrated experience with OSHA safety guidelines and EHS best practices.
