Plant Manager

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Preferably, 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production control settings.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, 5S, and/or Six Sigma is advantageous.

Technical and Industry Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, maintenance, and repair strategies, as well as planning and scheduling.
• Prior exposure to the rubber manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating Calenders, Presses, Steam Systems, Automated Packaging Equipment, and other manufacturing systems.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships across organizational levels.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and negotiation capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
• Advanced PC skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP; CAD knowledge is an added benefit.

Additional Qualifications:

• Comprehensive expertise in equipment and facility maintenance programs and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.
• Awareness of state and local safety, fire, construction, and public access regulations, as well as proficiency in interpreting blueprints and building codes.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours or shifts as needed.
• Resilience to manage emergency situations effectively, requiring both physical and mental preparedness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
