Product Manager III

Expedia Group is looking for a smart, consultative, passionate, data & tech savvy individual to form a vital part of Expedia Group's Clickstream Team. Your role as Data Product Manager will involve implementing, improving and evangelizing behavioral analytics tooling across Expedia Group. As a specialist in behavioral analytics platforms, you will partner with internal customers to understand their needs and help bring disparate datasets together to make it as easy as possible for users to find insights in our clickstream data.
What you'll do:
Product management – Implement and improve our tooling while working closely with our internal partners
Strategy – Translate the business's goals into tracking requirements and ensure we're creating our platforms based on the highest value use cases
Data quality – Audit and review implementation to flag tracking issues which could lead to the wrong business decision
Support – Act as an internal consultant providing support across the organization, crafting easy to understand internal documentation and establishing a training program
Competitive intelligence – Follow new technologies, compare with existing products and provide long-term recommendations
Who you are:
Experience in a Digital Analytics / Data Product Management position
High level of proficiency implementing and using behavioral analytics tool across web and app platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MixPanel, or other Clickstream solutions
Good understanding of Data Capture implementations: JSON, JavaScript, Schema design & management
Comfortable manipulating large dataset using SQL queries
A passion for data, analytics, ecommerce, online marketing and travel
Ability to work collaboratively in a global and matrixed environment
Direct and transparent approach to communication
Naturally curious mind and appetite for creative and inventive problem solving. We are always anxious to try new things
Attention and appreciation for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce excellent technical specifications and documentation
Love contributing knowledge to our analytics community
