User Experience Designer III - EPS

We’re looking for a motivated User Experience Designer III to help us envision and deliver delightful customer experiences. We work on a global scale for multiple brands, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment.

As a UX Designer III with Expedia's Partner Solutions team, you’ll have a chance to help us define how people shop for and book their dream vacations. You will contribute to our product through the creation of sketches, storyboards, information architecture, wireframes, compositions, and rich prototypes. You'll work with cross functional agile teams including product managers, business analysts, UX designers, researchers, and developers to produce effective interactive experiences.

What you’ll do:

• You will influence strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
• You will define customer experience success metrics for a project or product area
• You will explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, and evaluate concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest
• You will demonstrate mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practice, and create appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with minimal guidance
• You will actively contribute to design system growth based on use cases
• You will make decisions that clarify relationships between patterns and support future flexibility
• You will actively seek diverse feedback on design work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively
• You will develop empathy and insights about customers based on data and insights from research and other customer data sources
• You will clearly communicate customer-centric goals when presenting work

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience; Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience or related Design field or relevant experience is applicable
• Strong in 2 core skill, capable in 2 others including Interaction/visual design, Information architecture, User research, Facilitation, Prototyping, Technical/Platform knowledge, UX writing, Illustration, and Motion design
