Job Functions: Collaborate with all teams within SS&C Eze, including all Client Service Teams, R&D, and Sales Respond to real-time events/alerts and escalated incident cases. Triage, diagnose, remediate, and deliver solutions, in-line with internal service level agreements Maintain “team mindset” and leverage internally sponsored tools for inter and intra-team communications. Utilize and continually enhance best-practices for Incident Management and Problem Management processes. Use the Salesforce platform to administer these core processes and communicate with stakeholders. Perform issue replication in virtual and staging environments to identify potential defects. Drive defects towards resolution working closely with partners in Product and Software Development Produce documentation on triage requirements, product functionality, troubleshooting procedures, known Problems, and other topics. Assist in creating Knowledge Articles that can be utilized by other internal teams for your specialized product domain Work directly with Product Management to complement the design of future products and advocate for product supportability improvements Participate in team projects including training and documentation initiatives, client upgrades, software deployments, product supportability improvements, release readiness, and monitoring enhancements Specifics: Role is contained within the Client Service-Product Solutions–Operations team Focus on infrastructure: MSSQL, Windows Server, Citrix, Networking, VM and host troubleshooting Work with applications such as: WinDbg, ProcDump, PerfMon, MSSQL, Citrix, XMLSpy Defined focus of certain proprietary internal applications under the Operations bucket Develop tools and ideas to aid in Eze’s support of the infrastructure that runs EzeOMS environments Involved in working groups with other internal teams including Client Solutions, Product Management, and/or Development Flexible schedules Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, from an accredited educational institution, is required Expert troubleshooting techniques and IT support skills Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities Ability to learn quickly, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and within a team Preferred: 0 - 2 years of professional experience supporting financial technologies such as trading systems/applications, and/or related products and services Preferred Computer Science major/minor Technical certifications Knowledge of MSSQL, C#, log/data analysis Knowledge of financial industry/capital markets and/or financial technology Knowledge of Salesforce, PowerBI, and other enterprise CRM and process administration tools Understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework Familiarity with ITIL best-practices for Service Transition and Service Operations functions and processes. #LI-Eze Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
