GRANT SUMMARY
The goal of the ABH-CLINIC project is to transform the community behavioral health system by providing comprehensive, coordinated behavioral health care. The Clinic provides culturally specific programming, strength-based services, community-wide engagement, evidence-based practices, and early intervention.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the overall assessment and evaluation of the ABH-CLINIC project. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) provides a SAMHSA Performance Accountability and Reporting System (SPARS) website in which the Internal Evaluator may access online data, reporting, technical assistance requests, and training system to support the ABH-CLINIC for timely and accurate data reporting to SAMHSA. This position is part of a collaborative treatment team assuring culturally resonant mental health intervention, treatment, and support services.
JOB DUTIES
- Collects, stores, and maintains all project reporting data.
- Analyzes data following project requirements.
- Processes the evaluation, collection, and reporting of SPARS Infrastructure, Prevention, and Promotion data.
- Conducts both process and outcome evaluation.
- Acts as an involved team member rather than an objective observer.
- Determines if program activities were implemented as intended and resulted in the specified outputs.
- Measures outcome evaluation in the target population to assess progress toward desired results.
- Write quarterly evaluation reports to track progress towards goals and objectives and include SAMHSA, BHCC, and stakeholder reports.
- Prepares routine data and evaluation reports to the Project Director.
- Prepare routine data and evaluation reports to the Behavioral Health Community Coalition (BHCC) to facilitate adequate monitoring of data quality and completeness and program quality and performance.
- Conducts performance assessment through project evaluation to assess project progress, activities and processes, and progress toward goals and objectives as well as whether the project is impacting health disparities.
- Attends mandatory position training that provides training in risk factors.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience working with AN/AI population and experience providing culturally specific services.
- Five (5) years of experience in data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience)
- Master’s degree in behavioral health or multiple years of experience working with AN/AI population and experience providing culturally specific services.
