What are the responsibilities and job description for the White Wood Quality Inspector position at Fairfield Chair Company?
- Will perform inspection of products for quality, defects, appearance, finishes and operation from specification or by visual comparison methods.
- Will use specifications to disposition product.
- Read tickets to ensure product matches what information has been ordered by the customer.
- Ability for “light” touch-up.
- Complete reject tag for all non-compliance units.
- Input defect data into defect database.
- Provide manager and supervisors feedback on the status of non-compliant units.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Touch up experience.
- Must have knowledge of fit and function of product.
- Ability to consistently meet high quality/quantity performance standard.
