Triage Nurse RN (Full Time)

GENERAL FUNCTION: Registered Nurse, Lab tracking, Administrative

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

· Monday through Friday 8am -5pm

· Track Lab and Diagnostic Imaging Orders

o Attach reports/notes to patients file and send to providers

· Follow up with Patients on Lab and Diagnostic imaging results

· Schedule patient diabetes training and education

· Send in patient prescriptions

· Liaison between FCHC and Quest Lab

· Work directly with referral clerks and referral tracking clerks

· Working with local agencies to reach and contact patients

· Mailing, Scanning and faxing documents

· Dependable, punctual and a team player

· Any other duties as assigned

Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, nursing administration from an accredited college or university, or an Associate degree, or diploma in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing practice in a hospital or community setting
• State Nursing License
• Basic computer skills
