The Lead Teller serves as a working team lead, responsible for operational training of teller line. Provides primary member contact in receiving and processing member transactions. Communicates information about credit union products and services. Pay for this position starts at $22/hr with performance based incentive.
What will I be doing in this role?
- Serves as team lead for teller line functions including scheduling, monitoring performance, and on the job training
- Serves as the Manager On Duty in the absence of Branch or Assistant Branch Manager, including opening and closing responsibilities and end of day balancing procedures
- Responsible for monitoring daily teller line operations and functions. Serves as first point of contact for operational inquiries.
- Utilizes cross-selling and relationship building strategies to offer credit union products and services to new and existing members
- Execute focused development activities to ensure performance expectations from all MSRs are met or exceeded
- Serves as primary custodian of credit union assets and performs periodic internal control procedures. Assists and/or serves as ATM custodian.
- Communicates with members to provide account and service information. Assists members in resolving account differences.
- Maintains cash drawer and processes member transactions. Maintains detailed record of each transaction through data input into computer and balances work on a daily basis. Provides account services to members including travelers’ checks, money orders, official checks and savings bond orders. Issues new boxes to members, monitors access and compliance to access procedures and maintains all associated records.

Education
