The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance of the facility at all of our campuses. The position ensures all facilities are operational and functioning to an exemplary level based on the standards set forth by the Management Team.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
- Assist with Facility Manager duties in their absence
- Champion for Safety and implementing safe practices ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA guidelines and regulations
- Excellent communication skills with staff and vendors alike
- Working knowledge and experience with various electrical systems
- Troubleshoot racking, crane, electric systems, and components
- Performs and documents run cycles on critical equipment
- Maintain critical equipment and their functions throughout the facility
- Diagnose and repair equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance for all major mechanical systems in the facility
- Maintain HVAC, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fire suppression systems
- Perform custodial, cleaning functions, and light landscaping duties if necessary
- Assist with inventory control for building maintenance items/supplies/tools
- May be called upon perform tasks after hours and/or on weekends as needed. Including responding to alarm calls.
- Complete any special projects, events, or duties as directed by Facility Manager, Facilities Director, and Campus Pastor
- Represents Faith Life Church in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner always
- Highly motivated with the ability to work and complete tasks unsupervised
- Solution-oriented and creative problem solver
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- Willfully adaptive to last-minute changes
- Ability to operate a scissor lift
- Ability to use various power and hand tools
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have a valid OH driver’s license
