Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and the use of construction management software. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize HeavyBid for accurate cost estimation and budgeting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation of schematics and blueprints using Civil 3D and Bluebeam software.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the project.
- Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and other construction management software.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and contract management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for schematics and technical documents.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
