What are the responsibilities and job description for the SSVF Case Manager position at Families In Crisis Inc.?
The Case Manager reports directly to the Lead Case Manager. The Case Manager is responsible for providing support services and case management to Veterans, particularly those Veterans who are very-low income and homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Work locations include all Outreach offices.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
2. Preferred experience working with Veterans, homeless individuals, or low income clientele.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Knowledge of the needs of Veterans, homeless individuals, or low income clientele.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
