Family Dental Health is looking for a determined Revenue Cycle Operations Manager to join our team! The Revenue Cycle Operations Manager provides leadership, vision, and administrative direction to the following services: Insurance Accounts Receivable, Insurance Billing Support, Insurance Claims Management, and Insurance Payment Posting. This will include confirming that each function has the proper operational controls, reporting procedures, personnel, and technologies in place to effectively ensure efficient business operations and support our ability to achieve long-term growth and expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes dental PMS (Denticon) along with other technologies to ensure accuracy in our revenue process and reporting.
• Oversees all RCM Teams responsible for Insurance benefits verification, insurance claims management, and payment posting supporting Family Dental Health (and affiliated brands) locations.
• Maintains a full understanding of Accounts Receivable by working with posting teams and operations teams to ensure that accounts are worked in a timely manner.
• Develops strong processes to minimize and monitor denials and appeals of claims through monitoring performance leading to successful financial recovery of improperly denied claims.
• Assists with maintaining and optimizing the practice management system to enhance automation functionality aimed at reducing edits, scaling staff, eliminating manual efforts.
• Oversees the RCM workflows by working with the accounting to ensure that electronic and paper payment files are posted in a timely manner and maximize the use of technology to reduce errors and ensure payment/adjustment integrity.
• Works closely with bank vendors to maximize electronic efficiencies related to EFT/ERA reconciliation and 835 conversions.
• Develops a robust reporting output aimed at providing leadership with data driven metrics and updates on the health, risk, and payor mix of existing AR.
• Provides trend and pattern analysis along with recommendations to Payor Contracting team.
• Leads the integration process of newly acquired practices into our systems and reporting.

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience leading Revenue Cycle Operations teams (Insurance billing and collections), preferably in medical/dental shared services (or multi location) environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health/dental insurance reimbursement processes.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field
• Demonstrated understanding in how to manage personnel and other resources across an organization to make an enterprise-wide impact.
• Strong leadership and consultative skills
